The fourth Beast
Dan 7:7 "After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.”
This beast had huge iron teeth to devour all its enemies (legs of iron of the image) and with 10 horns. The description is similar to the beast of Rev 13.
Just like Alexander the Great (Leopard), it will conquer all its enemies quickly. It will destroy all its enemies in its path just like the Mede Persians (Bear).
All the other three beasts were empires but this fourth Beast is different. It is likely an alliance of nations instead of an empire.
Rev 13:1-2 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.
Dan 7:8 "I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words … I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame.”
Out of this fourth Beast (Alliance), will be one powerful horn, who is as boastful as King Nebuchadnezzar (mouth of the lion). This horn is like a human being (likely the incarnate of Satan or Endtime Antichrist), who will blaspheme the Almighty God. He will be killed by the glorious coming of our Lord at rapture.
Rev 13:6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.
Dan 7:23 “Thus he said: ‘The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all other kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, trample it and break it in pieces."
The fourth Beast will conquer the whole world and the whole world must submit to him and worship him.
Rev 13:7-8 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Rev 17:10-11 "There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.”
Five kings namely Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Mede-Persian and Grecian empires had fallen during the writing of the book of Revelation by John the Apostle. The ruling sixth king then was the Roman empire.
The seventh king will be the fourth Beast, which will come during the last days. It will only reign for a short time. The eighth coming out of the seventh will be the Antichrist who will be destined for perdition.
2The 2:3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
