‘Book of Daniel’
Dan 12:5-7 Then
I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others, one on this riverbank and the
other on that riverbank. And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was
above the waters of the river, “How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders
be?” Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the
river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by
Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time;
and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all
these things shall be finished.
During the fifth Seal and prior to the construction of the temple of the Antichrist, Michael the Archangel will intervene and help the Jews so that they will not be deceived by Antichrist.
In the book of Daniel, the Jews are referred to as ‘your people’ and Christians as ‘holy people’. Christians will be persecuted and martyred for three and a half years (times).
Rev 12:13-14 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
Rev 13:5-7 And
he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given
authority to continue for forty-two months. Then he opened his mouth in
blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who
dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to
overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and
nation.
This period of
the Wrath of Satan for 42 months is the same as the Period of Sorrows or
Tribulation (in Mat 24:9-28, Mark 13:9-23, Luke 21:12-24, Rev 6:9-11, etc. This
will be the period of persecution, tribulation, torture, imprisonment and
martyrdom but also a time of refining and purification.
Rev 6:9-11 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.
John 15:12-13 “This
is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love
has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
This will also be the time when Christians will joyfully and openly expose the Antichrist as the incarnate of Satan. A time when Christians condemn the temple of the Antichrist. A time when the gospel is preached to all by the Holy Spirit using the mouths and bodies of martyrs.
1 John 3:16 By
this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to
lay down our lives for the brethren.
This will also be the time when Christians can obey His words of laying down their lives for their brethren just as our Lord Jesus had laid down His life for us.
During this
time our Father the Lord God Almighty, will gladly allow Satan to torture and
martyr His obedient children, who will become the bride of the Lamb.
