'Book of Daniel’
Dan 8:8-12 Therefore
the male goat grew very great; but when he became strong, the large horn was
broken, and in place of it four notable ones came up toward the four winds of
heaven. And out of one of them came a little horn which grew exceedingly great
toward the south, toward the east, and toward the Glorious Land. And it grew up
to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and some of the stars
to the ground, and trampled them. He even exalted himself as high as the Prince
of the host; and by him the daily [sacrifices] were taken away, and the place
of His sanctuary was cast down. Because of transgression, an army was given
over to the horn to oppose the daily [sacrifices;] and he cast truth down to
the ground. He did all this and prospered.
Out of the four Grecian kingdoms, one of them will be extremely powerful who will exalt himself as God. He will remove the daily [sacrifices] and with the support of many nations, he will conquer Israel (Glorious Land). He will be a great liar (no truth) and will deceive many.
Last Days' King of the North
Dan 11:29, 31, 37 "At the appointed time he (king of the North) shall return and go toward the south; but it shall not be like the former or the latter.... And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily [sacrifices,] and place there the abomination of desolation...He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all."
1. This Endtime king of the North will conquer Jerusalem (sanctuary fortress)
2. He will remove the Al Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount, which calls Muslims to daily prayers [sacrifices]
3. In its place, He will rebuild the so-called Temple of God or 'Abomination of Desolation'
4. He will exalt himself to be God.
Dan 11:40-41a “At the time of the end the king of the
South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a
whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the
countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. He shall also enter the Glorious
Land, and many countries shall be overthrown.."
Just like the fourth Beast, this king of the North will conquer its neighbouring Arab nations and Israel (Glorious Land) like a whirlwind.
Dan 11:44 "But news from the east and the north
shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and
annihilate many."
He will also conquer the rest of the world and annihilate many nations.
Dan 11:45 "And he shall plant the tents of his
palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to
his end, and no one will help him."
God said that he will build his palace for he is only a king and not God. However, the Jews and unlearned Christians will think that they are rebuilding the temple of God (actually his palace or the abomination of desolation) on the Temple Mount (glorious holy mountain) between the Mediterranean and Dead seas. Just like the fourth Beast, no one can save him from being killed (end).
2 Thess 2:9-10 The coming of the lawless one is according
to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all
unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the
love of the truth, that they might be saved.
This Endtime king of the North will be the fourth Beast, the Northern Alliance led by the Antichrist, who is the agent or incarnate of Satan himself.
It will be interesting to see how the Antichrist display his satanic powers and lying wonders in the coming World War 3, the last war before rapture.
